Merry Christmas!

Maybe I'll post again before Christmas, but in case I don't....
Pictures 1st:

Louise bought this new Groovy Girl mermaid with the money she earned at the C&P craft fair selling 'hot bead' creations (use as an ornament, a key chain, a coaster - the possibilities are endless!). She made some real money, about $20 after paying her parents back for the raw materials! Here she is with Maria, working their table at the craft fair:

And finally, a picture she drew today that I had to post.

Louise and I recently finished reading BONE, which I can't recommend highly enough. If you liked the Lord of the Rings and you like comics, you'll love Bone. Anyways, this picture is of Bartleby, a "rat creature" cub in the story that Louise really liked (he's quite cute). We finished reading the book about a month ago, and out of the blue she drew this. And we still make jokes about Quiche.

What else....

It's been a busy but fun Year. I won't bore ya'll with a Christmas letter - all I would do is click through the archives on the left (where you can find pictures from throughout the year) to remind me what we did. So I suggest you do the same if you wonder what Louise and her parents were up to. Spain was the big one - loads of fun, can't wait to go back. As a matter of fact - when we told Louise that we weren't going to Target today (so she could spend her money on Polly Pocket things) - she suggested we go to Santiago de Compostella, the only other place she could think of that has Polly Pocket dolls. As much as we liked the idea, we've got school and work tomorrow, so it'll have to wait.

Anyways, like I said - Merry Christmas, Peace to all of our friends and family that visit this page, and best wishes for a happy, healthy 2008!
